A Life-Long Friendship

As I try to trace down our friendship journey
I find myself lost
I would pay to find the history
Whatever the cost
I’m thinking back on all the years
I search & search but never find
Time moves like the speed of light
I guess it flew past my mind
Well whenever it was
I’m happy to have you
I never would have predicted this
And now it’s a dream come true
You are always there no matter what
If I am happy or down
We could not be talking & if I need you
You always come around
That is why I love you
You never let your pride get in the way
I cant picture life w/o my BFF
That’s why BR is where you should stay
We are human
We will fight and fuss
But after a long day at school
I still look forward to the bus
Because you’re there
You take away all my pain
With your corny jokes & laughter
I hope for you, I do the same
I hope this is a life-time friendship
Because you will be in my heart, life-long
We can always count on each other
When life gets crazy & things go wrong
